Elegant, with fine zari work at the border — a cotton silk saree in leheriya style: diagonal checks of red, marigold orange and ivory running the length of the drape, each square carrying a small gold foil floral motif that catches the light. A broad red Banarasi border with gold zari weaving frames both edges, and the pallu ends in the same red and gold band.

Cotton silk keeps it light and easy to wear, so this is a daytime and casual-festive saree rather than a heavy occasion piece — Teej, Gangaur, Navratri, Durga Puja, a family lunch, a haldi morning. It comes with a plain red blouse piece.
