Red Dola Silk Banarasi Ghatchola Zari Saree

Intricate fine zari work — a deep red dola silk saree woven all over in Banarasi ghatchola style, silver and pale gold zari worked into round medallions, bandhani-inspired dotted diamonds and fine floral bands, so the whole drape catches the light rather than just the border.

Dola silk falls softly and holds its shape, which makes this an easy saree to wear through a long function. Red and zari is the traditional choice for weddings, karwa chauth and festive evenings, and this one carries enough weave to stand on its own without heavy embellishment.
