Intricate detailing, beautifully curated — a summer saree that carries real pattern without any weight: a daytime function, a mehndi lunch, a family gathering in the heat. Sheer kota doria on a deep rani pink ground, printed all over in the patola idiom, with elephants and parrots worked into a close diamond grid.

Fabric and work: fine, semi-sheer kota doria in deep rani pink, with the faint square grid of the kota weave visible through the drape. The patola-style print sets stepped geometric motifs, small elephants and parrot figures within a diamond lattice, picked out in white, marigold yellow, green and orange.
