Sea Green Cotton Silk Batik Print Zari Border Saree

Artisanal hand batik, intricately detailed — a saree for the lighter end of the occasion calendar: a mehndi lunch, a temple morning, a family gathering where you want colour and craft without weight. The hand batik print gives the cloth its softly irregular, hand-made character, and the woven zari selvedge lifts it just enough for an evening.

The base is cotton silk in a clear sea green, printed all over in ivory with a dense field of small florals and leafy vines in the Sanganeri batik idiom. A woven zari border in green and gold runs the length of the selvedge, and the pallu finishes in broad printed bands — a diamond lattice and a row of stylised motifs — that read clearly when the drape is thrown over the shoulder. The blouse piece is matching sea green with a scattered ivory butti print and a zari band at the sleeve.
