Red Moss Chiffon Bandhani Print Saree
Timeless, with fine zari work at the border — red is the colour the occasion calendar keeps coming back to: a karva chauth evening, a sangeet, the first day of a wedding week. This one is moss chiffon, so it carries that weight of meaning without any actual weight — it falls close to the body, pleats easily and travels well.
The ground is red moss chiffon, printed all over in the bandhani idiom — fine cream and yellow dots gathered into curving diagonal bands and outlined paisleys that run the length of the field. A woven zari border in soft silver-gold edges the selvedge with a repeating floral and paisley band, and the same border finishes the pallu. The blouse piece is deep bottle green, a deliberate contrast to the red, with a matching silver-gold zari band at the neckline and sleeve ends.
