Marigold Yellow Kota Doria Patola Print Saree

Elegant and intricately printed — marigold yellow is the colour of the festival season, and this one carries it lightly: a Navratri afternoon, a haldi, a daytime function where the heat rules out anything heavier. Sheer kota doria printed all over in the patola idiom, with small florals and stepped motifs worked into a close diamond grid.

Fabric and work: fine, semi-sheer kota doria in warm marigold yellow, with the faint square grid of the kota weave visible through the drape. The patola-style print sets stepped geometric motifs and small flowers within a white diamond lattice, picked out in brick red, green and deep orange. A fine gota edging finishes the border.
