Golden Yellow Tissue Cotton Kashida Floral Saree

Exquisitely embroidered — a sheer golden-yellow tissue cotton saree with a fine gold shimmer running through the weave. Small embroidered buds in bright pink are scattered widely across the body, and a vertical band of larger embroidered florals in pink, coral and green runs the length of the pallu beside a broad plain gold zari border. The pallu finishes in fine gold stripes.

Yellow is the haldi and mehndi colour, and this is a light enough cloth to wear through a daytime function in warm weather — tissue cotton is crisp and airy rather than heavy. The embroidery is worked rather than printed, so the florals sit slightly raised against the sheer ground. It comes with a matching blouse piece.
