This is a Banarasi-idiom Dola silk with a soft satin fall, made for a sangeet, an engagement or a reception where you want the zari to carry the occasion.

The ground is Dola silk in a coral pink with a gentle sheen, woven with gold zari in a Banarasi jaal — arched floral motifs and small buta scattered across the field, with flower heads picked out in blue, green and rust meenakari-style colour. Broad gold zari borders run down both selvedges with a chevron and lattice band, and the pallu closes with a deep woven panel of large florals and stacked geometric bands. The blouse piece is coral pink with matching woven zari detail.
